So here is my Year in Review for all that care!
January: Well I was able to buy my mom's car from her. That was a great blessing! I finally had transportation again and well I was able to help her pay off some bills that she needed to pay. The news that mom's brain tumors were shrinking and that she was recovering well.
February: Came with the purchase of @NKOTB tickets for the Ft Myers and Orlando show. My first 5 star purchase. Finally I would meet NKOTB for the first time and I would teach my kids a great lesson. No matter what you dream, dreams will eventually come true.
March: Came with love. I meet Danny and Donnie out side the arena in Ft Myers. I was able to share with Danny my mom's battle with brain cancer and his love for what our family was going through. I had the chance of a lifetime as I went in for my 5 star. Not only did I meet NKOTB I meet a ton of mew friends. I was greeted with 2 kisses from Jonathan and 1 from Donnie. Great big hugs from Joey and Jordan. I actually fell for Jordan for the 1st time after meeting him. I also was able to me the Wookeez who I love so much esp Phi! After those 2 Florida concerts I just could not get enough and I meet a wonderful person on the NKOTB community who gave me tickets for the Penn State concert that happened to be on my Birthday. I meet another crazy girl that was willing to take a road trip with me and we hit the gravel together on a 1 week 4 show tour. LOL But as I was to set sail, my mom called a family meeting to say that she was given only 6 months that her brain cancer had returned and it was bad. I knew then I needed this trip! So I hit the road and then the phone call came that my sister in law lost her mom to ovarian cancer. How sad. With all the bad going on I made March a month to remember as I was able to do something I had only dreamed of! 6 shows in 1 month and a ton of new friends.
April: was a very relaxing month. I just allowed God to have his way in my life and prayed for my mom to live and not die. But all in all it was God's will not mine. We celebrated my mom as her birthday is Apr 13th. She turned 58. April also brought the 1st Florida Fanatic meet up. What a great time of meeting new fans and friends.
May: Brought regret that I had not bought a cruise ticket but the freedom to head down to Miami and attend Danny's birthday party. (then head back to Tampa for work the next day) I was able to life thru others as they shared there stories and videos and picture with all of us. May also brought heartache as NKOTB canceled its Florida's concerts. Something I was truly looking forward to. Instead of going to the concert the Florida Fanatics got together and had a great time!
June: Brought a road trip to Atlanta. Where I was able to meet NKOTB again multiple times! Where my baby girl called Jonathan Daddy and my Breanna finally met Joey. Donnie kissing my Lili and covering her with her blankie. And what a concert! Reunion of many friends I had not seen in a little while.
July: brought me cancelling my trip to Dallas and settling with watching the live web cast of the Dallas show. Celebrating my son's 14th birthday.
August: Brought my Bre's b-day and my mom getting sicker. But oh how I have grown in my relationship with God.
Sept: came the death of my mom. Something that i did not want to happen. But thanks be to my Lord and Savior for seeing me thru this. Thanks you to my twitter friends for being there for me. I often joke, I wonder if my mom meet Danny's mom and if she is as excited about it as I was about meeting Him! LOL
October: Came the Breast Cancer walk that I planed for months to attend. But, it did not happen. Not only did one of my babies get sick but it was also the 1 month Anny of my mom's death. Thank you to Andie and Rea who made sure that Danny got my gift and he signed me a CD.
November: Came with my favorite holiday. Thanksgiving. Thank you to my God who gives and takes away!
December: Came Christmas the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Came with new traditions and my 1st Christmas with out my mom. Came with new friends, new things, secret Santa's, and NKOTB things.
As this year comes to an end. I am grateful for it all the ups, the downs, the happiness, and the sadness. Thankful for my new family and friends. Thankful for who I am now. Thankful for who I am in God.
As I prepare for 2010 I pray I keep my mom's spirit alive for my kiddos. That I am able to grow more in God and that people will see less of me and more of him. That I will get to share many more new memories with all of my new friends. That I will get to spend more time and make many new memories with my kiddos and NKOTB. That I will do everything that I have been putting off because of fear. That I will love harder and not be afraid!

Good Bye Mom
Well I never really got a chance to write anything about the passing of my Mom. I know today I miss her and I still cry at the weirdest times. LOL
But I have to thank my Lord and Savior for the peace He has given me. Don't get me wrong I am sometimes angry at her for smoking and am so hurt that she is not here when I really need her. I am hurt that my 2 youngest children and my future nephews and nieces will never meet her. But I am at peace that she is gone. That she will never hurt again. That her spirit is in heaven and that she is with God and her mom.
I am thankful that she taught me the spirit of Christmas and that this year I was able to show that to my kids! That all of her traditions I will carry on.
I am thankful that I have a great big family from NKOTB and that all of you were there for me when I needed you. Christina thank you for your love and concern when we almost lost mom while I was in NY at a NKOTB show. Danny thank you for your truthful caring when I shared with you my story. At her memorial service It was great to see family members that I had not seen in a very long time. Sad thing is they still have not kept in tough as they said they would. To my sister and my brother strength comes from God and that is why I handled it the way I did and continue to.
Yes, I miss her! But she lives on in me and my family. I am thankful for the time I had with her! I am thankful that I went that last time to see her and was able to say "Mom, I love you and I forgive you! I want you to forgive me! You have some great things that are going to happen and you don't have to be afraid". That is the best memory I will have of my mom.
I am thankful for the friends that told me there story of losing their mom, that made me confident that I was not losing my mind. As I thought for a minute.
Her illness lingered on for 1 year and a half and I am thankful to you all who put up with my constant talk of her and all that was going on.
And now I can say I forgive you Mike, you were only doing the best you could and it was not enough. But nevertheless I forgive you. But you will have to answer to God one day and I can only pray that you get it right before you do!

FT Myers and Orlando Concerts
Ok where in the world do I start? I have to say that I am truely a JonGirl always have been and always will be. But after these 2 days things have changed..Jonathan will always be my favorite only now there in a tie and a big one.
We left Tampa at about 11am heading for Ft Myers where I had 5*. I took my best friend and her 13 year old daughter and my 8 year old daughter. We got to the arena about 1pm. Only sighting was Joey. Found out later they were all staying at the Ritz Carlton. We got to meet the opening act, they were really cool asking us if needed any water or food or anything. they took pics with the girls and Phi well he rocks!
No more sightings of NKOTB, so we decided to stop at Micky Ds and grab some food. While talking to some blockheads we spotted a bus and screamed and ran out of Micky D's and headed back to the arena. We parked and got out of the car only to hear Danny's out and signing autographs so we ran over there. There were not to many girls So I made my way right up to him. I handed him a American Cancer Society New Kids on the Buck. I will put a picture of it up soon. He looked at it and said wheres the pen, I said oh no honey that is for you. I work for the American Cancer Society and do Relay for Life in memory of your mom. I donate from every pay check. I said my web page is on the back he said I will check it out. I said thanks. He then hugged me and I said Danny you are my inspiration. My mom is fighting for her life right now from brain cancer. Thank you. He said She will be in my prayers and looked at me with tears in his eyes and walked away. Wow that was great! I really beleive he will look at the web site! Then about 15 minutes later Donnie walked out of the bus and everyone started screaming & Donnie said shhhhhhhh and we all shut up he came and started taking pictures and signing autographs he was so cool. He kissed my girl Diane...lol. He took 2 pics with me and gave me a hug. Signed my daughter and friend's daughters shirts. He kept walking over to my daughter and smilling at her and pinching her nose. Must of reminded him of when they started, You know having little girls as their fans. He was so sweet. What a great guy.
I then needed to head over and get in line with my group of girls. So we did that, handed out some more NKOTB bucks. Told my story....it was cool. We got checked in and they split our group up...that really sucked but once we got up stairs we got our group back together. Thank goodness we did! LOL
The guys came in and everyone started screaming...Joey walked by first and when Donnie walked by he grabed my friend and laid her out and gave her the most passionate kiss I had ever seen. How great was that for her! We were group B the 2nd group to go in. The curtain opened and I knew that the other Jongirl was heading over to him so I went to the 1st guy open., I seen Joey. I said Hey I guess I will hug you and he put his arms wide open and gave me the best hug. Then I went to Jordan, and said hi I'm Melody and he put his arms out for a hug. I told him thanks for coming back he looked at me then I started rubbing his arm and told him you Rock Jordan you are the bombdiggedydog...LOL then he gave me this look and I said well thats why I like your brother better...( I have never been a jordan fan and I mean Never....so when he gave me that look I was like that is not nice so I said somehing not nice....now in hind sight I see that look in some pictures and v-blogs and realize that is his look when he likes something or when he is shocked by something...sorry Jordan!) I then went for Jonathan. I grabbed him and hugged him and said thanks for coming back. I love you! Then he looked me in my eyes still holding me and I said so I hear you are giving out kisses and he said what who told you that? (the whole time he was laughing and his face was all lit up and he was blushing and so damn fine!) Then he kissed me. I said thank you and it was picture time....yes I am right next to Jonathan. When that was over I walked over to danny and grabed him and hugged him and said thanks for praying and checking out the site! He said no problem. Then went for Donnie and got a great hug from him and said So I know you are givin out kisses so can I have one and he was like who told you that and then kissed me. I said thanks Donnie and then it was tome to go. So I hugged Joey again and said thanks! Hugged Jordan again and told him I would see him soon and goodnight then grabbed Jonathan and hugged him again and started rubbing his chest and asked him if Watson was going to be here tonight and he laughed so hard and looked at me and said Watson is on retirement until the summer tour. I laughed and said as I was still rubbing his chest I said that I had better see him tonight and asked can I have another kiss and he gladly gave me one. I told him to have a good night and I would see him real soon. Out we went.
What a great time that was! I am telling you if you have not done it do it !!!!! So we went out and talked about our experiences What a great group of girls I was with they rocked. Diane got Donnie's scarf and she was so nice to let me take a picture with it on. Thanks girl that rocked.So we went outside to our cars and seen Joey with his baby and Joanthan talking to some friends! That was cool.
I had 9th row dead center and was so excited. The seat was great! There were some empty seats next to me and Tracey (my bff) came and sat next to me. How cool! I got some great pictures. The guys did so good! It was better then Tampa! I am for real! They rocked and guess who fell in love with Jordan???? Yeah I know! He had me at call it what you want! I loved Joe's new medly! We tried to get back to the B stage but it was packed! So I stood on a chair and got to see them perfectly! It was great! Danny blew me a kiss and everything. I got great pics thats for sure! I love that it moves up and down! Jonathan looked hot as always and so did the rest of the guys! Danny was dancing with donnie and said come on Jon as he pushed him and Jonathan almost fell off the stage! Did anyone see that? Then Danny put out his arm around him and said Man I'm sorry! It was crazy!The rest of the show rocked! Cover girl was great. Jordan and his solo songs rocked the house and he has a new fan! I wish Danny would sing. The pose off was great we got 2 of them and Jonathan did something he didn't just stand there! Thank you for listening to your fans! We were so excited and when it was over all we could say was damn we get to do this all over again tomorrow. Our intentions were to follow Donnie's bus but we just headed on to Orlando and missed out on the waffle house and that sucked but oh well we had our face time and that was enough for us!

And we got to the arena and hung out all day and no face time that was all good! We did see Phi again and got to hang out with them. They are great and they have a new fan!
For this concert I had FL8 which was right next to b stage and a good seat. Security came over to our section and said half way through the show I am going to tell you to get up and go to the b stage! Yes front row how exciting! YES!!!! The concert stared and it was great! The guys looked good and rocked it good! The show was packed and so loud. During Grown Man the crowd headed for the b stage and I was literally pused up against it. Security came and sent everyone back to there seats! Thank you! The guys were so good. Got more pics with Jabba...Then security came and lined us up at the B stage and I got front row. I wanted Jonathan to sign a picture I took of him but he never looked at it and that was sad! So I gave up and pulled out my NKOTB buck and just then Danny was gonna talk about cancer awareness and he looked at me and shook his head and grabbed it right out of my hand and held it tight in his hand and next to his heart and did his talk and then put in on the piano and all the guys looked at it and Jonathan laughed. Donnie then looked at it and read it and nodded his head I know he got what it meant! During the B stage Jonathan grabbed my hand and held it...that was watson! Joey grabbed my hand and held it tooooo. Danny held my hand too! The girl behind me said I am so Jealus of you right now! LOL Then Donnie came around and he slapped my hand so hard that it hurt the rest of the night! LOL. The rest of the show rocked! The pose off was cool a little familar you know may be from the night before....but still good Watson oh I mean Jonathan took his jacket off for the second pose with was cool as hell. He is getting some muscles thats for sure! LOL Joey's so cute! He said suring the Lets Get This....I made 40 new friends at a NKOTB concert...lol then he said it is question and answer time ok section 101 row 6 what is your question.....lol Joey is so funny.
That was the best concert I took the cake! We just went to the hotel after this concert we were tired! We had just had the best 2 days of our lives and now we are trying to figure out how we can get to Greenville and to PA on the 24th, for my birthday...anyone want to contribute to that fund????? LOL I can not wait for the next concert! I love you guys thank you so much for all the face time and the concert and everything you guys rock!

Birthday Road Trip
Well when I got back from Ft Myers and Orlando's concerts I so wanted to see NKOTB again. I said if they came out with another tour I was going to take a week or 2 and just follow them around and I got to do just that.
It all started with posting a thread about wanting to go on a road trip. I got a number of fans that thought about it but decided against it. But Christina you rock girl! She came and we had a blast. Family and friends said you never met this girl and you are driving from Tampa, Fl to Virginia to pick her up. SHe could be crazy a serial killer. I laughed if she was all of those things she would put them on the back burner for NKOTB. LOL
We headed to Penn State that was my birthday, 33. We hung out for 7 hours no fence time. Did get to see Phi from Jabba who remembered me and my girls from Fl. (they did not come with me on the road trip) So we heard they were giving out free tickets to the show and headed over. Shannon who we meet at the fence was blessed with 3rd row seats and they had ran out. No biggie. I was next to the B-Stage and that is where I wanted to be. Jabba performed and then signed ahutographs. They all wished me a happy b-day! Yes 1 down 5 to go. I got to borrow a sign and wrote today is my 33rd b-day and held it at the bstage after I held up my American Cancer Society money for Danny to see. When he seen it, he looked me in my eyes and said I remember. (read my 1st blog to understand). That made me so happy! Every time he went around he said something to me and gave me mad love. While him and Jon were leaning on the piano they both mouthed Happt B-day. yes 3 down 3 to go! LOL I got touched by Jon, Danny, Joey and Donnie. Then got to move up to front row and Danny posted for me and my friend and I was in such shock that I did not get to take the pic (he did this for us at the next 3 shows) But Shannon got it! What a great show. they snuck out on Joey's bus and we headed to the hotel cause well Portland was a 10 hour drive and we needed to sleep.
Portland, Maine was off the charts! The buses were so close to the venue it was great. We missed Donnie by 1 hour cause we over slept. But Got to see Phi and talked with the dancers and seen Barrett. We leave the family members alone and for the record stop taking pictures of the baby its not right. Get permission. Went into the show and had a great time. Got to meet Jessica Jones and watched how jon and Donnie gave her mad love! Got front row b-stage and got slammed up against it. I was not happy. Seen Danny again and he smilled and said I love you girl and gave me mad love! The girls around me said I am so jealous of you. If they really knew the conection me and Danny had they would not be jealous! No real facetime after the show. We started off following the Knight bus, got a text from Chris and we knew where they were gonna be and pulled off and picked up the BDB and followed Donnie for 6 and a half hours before getting pulled over and getting a speeding ticket and lossing the bus in the time that it mattered most.
Syracuse, NY was the loudest crowd yet. Got to see Phi and SteveDave got intereviewed by the radio station. Talked with the dancers. Went in and had our Big Girl Panties ready for the guys. 3 pairs one for Joey, Donnie and Jonathan. LOL 2 out of the 3 made it on the stage. During the concert I would hold them up and the look on Joey and Jordan's faces was priceless. LOL Got front row at the b-stage and seen Danny and he said you are here again I said yes I love you and he said I love you tooo and took my American Cancer Society dollar and put it in his pocket and I got mad love from him again. All night! So we threw the panties on stage and Donnie held them up and said I did say I like big girls and then he hung them on the stage the one by Jonathan said for watson, the ones Donnie held up said Want some grown woman..... Jon laughed so hard he had to move away from them. That show was the best show I had been to! You fans up north really know how to bring it!
Niagara Falls, NY I had never been up that far and never been to a casino that rocked. We got a text from inside sources(when you follow the guys and you are real and want to make friends not use them you get everything you want) that the guys were in the casino. So we went and got dressed and headed out. I got to the casino and got out of my car and walked like 3 steps and fell. I hit the ground so hard I really thought I broke my wrist. I said out loud Jon you better be worth this. LOL I still have a bruse!!!! So we went walking around decided to go into Koi a resturant and my friend Phi was there with Jon and Jordan and the dancers and the crew and all of jabba. We had a blast. We got to hang out with Jonathan and Jordan and the whole crew till like 4 am. I will not go into details because this was my personal time with my friends you can understand. I did get to talk to Jordan about the big girl panies and he said that was so original and great. (don't steal it girls) Then had to play security cause people were trying to take pictures without permission and the guys were not happy. Jordan left early because some girl touched him where she had now buisness touching him. At the end of the night after me and Jonathan had some great conversations I gave him a big hug and he wispered in my ear it was great meeting you again and wow you smell good. I melted. He said I could take a pic and we left. The concert the next night was bitter sweet for me mostly because I knew my trip was coming to an end but mostly because I got a text from my son saying my mom had gone down hill and that they had almost lost her and to enjoy my time away. I cryed and and begged Earl to get Danny for me and sent my dollar with him. I understood he was with family. I just needed my Danny Love. My mom has terminal brain cancer! Jonathan kept getting pushed back to his place by Donnie it was great. Danny looked good as always even Joey looked all sexy laying on that piano. He said where are the single ladies at??? Then he said hell we are all single tonight I'll work it out. LOL
To everyone I met you guys are great to Steve, Stephen, Stevedave, Phi, Eddie, Loral, Stephanie, Sunny, Chris, Dave, Ethan, Earl Love you guys and see you real soon!
I got home Monday morning and went to work and I am now planning my Florida trips and maybe a PA show and a TX show! Can't wait to see the guys again!

It all started with posting a thread about wanting to go on a road trip. I got a number of fans that thought about it but decided against it. But Christina you rock girl! She came and we had a blast. Family and friends said you never met this girl and you are driving from Tampa, Fl to Virginia to pick her up. SHe could be crazy a serial killer. I laughed if she was all of those things she would put them on the back burner for NKOTB. LOL
We headed to Penn State that was my birthday, 33. We hung out for 7 hours no fence time. Did get to see Phi from Jabba who remembered me and my girls from Fl. (they did not come with me on the road trip) So we heard they were giving out free tickets to the show and headed over. Shannon who we meet at the fence was blessed with 3rd row seats and they had ran out. No biggie. I was next to the B-Stage and that is where I wanted to be. Jabba performed and then signed ahutographs. They all wished me a happy b-day! Yes 1 down 5 to go. I got to borrow a sign and wrote today is my 33rd b-day and held it at the bstage after I held up my American Cancer Society money for Danny to see. When he seen it, he looked me in my eyes and said I remember. (read my 1st blog to understand). That made me so happy! Every time he went around he said something to me and gave me mad love. While him and Jon were leaning on the piano they both mouthed Happt B-day. yes 3 down 3 to go! LOL I got touched by Jon, Danny, Joey and Donnie. Then got to move up to front row and Danny posted for me and my friend and I was in such shock that I did not get to take the pic (he did this for us at the next 3 shows) But Shannon got it! What a great show. they snuck out on Joey's bus and we headed to the hotel cause well Portland was a 10 hour drive and we needed to sleep.
Portland, Maine was off the charts! The buses were so close to the venue it was great. We missed Donnie by 1 hour cause we over slept. But Got to see Phi and talked with the dancers and seen Barrett. We leave the family members alone and for the record stop taking pictures of the baby its not right. Get permission. Went into the show and had a great time. Got to meet Jessica Jones and watched how jon and Donnie gave her mad love! Got front row b-stage and got slammed up against it. I was not happy. Seen Danny again and he smilled and said I love you girl and gave me mad love! The girls around me said I am so jealous of you. If they really knew the conection me and Danny had they would not be jealous! No real facetime after the show. We started off following the Knight bus, got a text from Chris and we knew where they were gonna be and pulled off and picked up the BDB and followed Donnie for 6 and a half hours before getting pulled over and getting a speeding ticket and lossing the bus in the time that it mattered most.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MEL
WELL ON SUNDAY WE OFFICIALLY MOVED INTO OUR VERY OWN APARTMENT. WE HAD BEEN LIVING WITH A DEAR FRIEND FROM OUR CHURCH AND FINALLY ABLE TO GET ON OUR OWN. WOW WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! IT WAS ONLY GOD THAT IS FOR SURE. I WILL IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS SHARE THE GOD MOMENTS.
THE KIDS ARE DOING WELL NO ONE IS ILL AND THAT ALONE IS A BLESSING. I AM VERY SORE FROM THE MOVE BUT MY GOD IS SO GOOD.WE LOOK INTO SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO SEE IF TONY WAS REALLY IN MOM'S DISTRICT AND COME TO FIND OUT HE IS SO WE HAVE TO GET HIM ON THE BUS NOW. I WILL TAKE HIM AND PICK HIM UP 2 DAYS A WEEK SO THAT HE STILL GETS THE QUALITY TIME HE WANTS (AND ENJOYS) WITH HIS NANA.
I AM GOING TO CHANGE BREANNA'S SCHOOL AND I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT. I DO THINK THAT WAS A MISTAKE FROM THE BEGINNING BUT SOMETIMES YOU MAKE MISTAKES SO THAT YOU CAN LEARN A LESSON AND MOVE ON.
SO WORK IS WELL I WILL BE PERM ON FEB 25! GO JESUS! I WILL ALSO BE RECEIVEING A GREAT RAISE AND I AM EXCITED. ALTHOUGH I KNOW CHALLENGE IS COMING AND I WILL STAY PRAYERFUL AND IN THE WORD.
I AM EXCITED ABOUT OUR PRAISE AND DRILL TEAM. WE ARE GOING TO DO "BROKEN AND BEAUTIFUL" IN THE MONTH OF MARCH AND THAT WILL BE GREAT! LET YOU KNOW HOW THAT GOES.

What a week!
